Honeymoon in Greece - Athens, Santorini and Crete May 2023

Happy Friday! Hope you're doing well and had a great week.

The trip was absolutely amazing, more than we ever expected, we had the best honeymoon ever and cannot thank you enough.

The Athens tours for the Acropolis and Delphi was so informative and intriguing.  The tour guide, Effie, so fortunate to have her both days, was so passionate and did an amazing job. 

Santorini was a dream.  The ferry was great and smooth.  When we got to the hotel, we did have an issue with our room.  They took us to our room, which was not the Junior Suite, it was a small room with the bathroom inside the bedroom.  The sinks were beside the bed and the door to the toilet as well.  We went and complained and showed them the picture of the room we paid for and they said it was available but because the bathroom ceiling is 6 feet and Kush is tall they didn't give it to us.  (which we didn't appreciate being downgraded without a choice).  We did end up upgrading to the Honeymoon Suite for the 3 nights.  Other than that hiccup, the catarman was amazing and so enjoyable and Santorini is gorgeous.

Last was Crete, the room with the swim out pool was phenomenal and the resort was beautiful.  The private tour once again was soo great, and the tour guide was absolutely amazing and so funny.  We had an amazing afternoon on the tour.

Thank you so much for creating the best Honeymoon of our lives, it was the best week ever and we wish we could rewind and just do it all again.  You created the perfect itinerary with the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation.

St. Lucia was amazing! I would highly recommend this resort. This has been my favourite out of everywhere we’ve been.

Arriving at the airport was a little confusing and unorganized. There was no West Jet representative or signage but the SunWing staff helped.

The resort was beautiful. The food was great. And the staff were the best. They checked in on us several times during our stay and the one issue we mentioned, was fixed the next day. 

My mom did find the beach disappointing. I don’t think she realized how small it was being an inlet. And while I prefer the pools myself, I didn’t like how rocky the ocean was. 

Thanks for all of your help Angie! I’m sure we’ll be in touch sometime early next year with our next trip.
